Arpeggios and Intervals

Usually when we practice arpeggios, we play them in ascending thirds. But there are lots of other ways to play them. In this lesson, we play arpeggios over the chords to "Afternoon In Paris."

Exercise 1 use the common approach, playing up and down the arpeggios, and connecting stepwise between measures.

Exercise 2 rearranges the arpeggios to emphasize 5ths.

Exercise 3 rearranges the arpeggios to emphasize 6ths.
